Next to the brand development of Romo a book was designed, which combines the documentation of the design process and the research about species extinction. The disappearance of the species is shown by several elements such as transparent paper, cut out areas on a few pages and infographics. Goal was to create a book which doesn’t whitewash the issue, but which shows the gravity of the situation. Therefore some disturbances were incorporated, that show endangered animals everyone knows from their everyday lives.
The following pictures grant an insight into the book. Shown is a chapter that has been printed as a brochure for illustration. The final book will be published in July 2019.
