The flowerpot series Blom was inspired by the Nordic design and culture. The straight shapes and the frugal consumption of materials serve as tribute to the barren landscapes of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The darker shades are symbolic for the long winters, whereas the dazzling colors represent the short summers, during which the sun doesn’t set for a few days in a row and it doesn’t get dark at night due to the midnight sun.
